Our server has one main rule which should be exceedingly simple to follow and is a caveat that covers all the typical rules you’d expect but also flexible for any need:

1. Don’t be a cock.

The pH public server uses alltalk as it provides a sociable atmosphere for players to talk regardless of which team they’re on, however we know there are certain moments when individuals would like to talk to their team about tactical elements, so we’ve installed a plugin that allows both. Simply copy and paste the following into your cfg/autoexec.cfg text file located in your Team Fortress 2 directory.

alias +teamonly "+teamtalk;+voicerecord"
alias -teamonly "-teamtalk;-voicerecord"

bind "YOUR KEY CHOICE" +teamonly

Replace the phrase “Your key choice” with a key, for example “F” or “Mouse3″.
