The chaps over at ETF2L have teamed up with Valve to create a Highlander league which will be starting over the next couple of months. In TF2 the term ‘highlander’ refers to the 1986 film featuring Christopher Lambert with the tagline “there can only be one”, meaning there are nine players on each team – one player for each class.

This is a more casual event compared to the typical six-versus-six competitive games and the rules only allow division six players in order to appeal to a wider audience rather than those who would consider themselves ‘hardcore’ gamers. As further incentive, there will be in-game medals awarded to teams that progress through the tournament.

pH will most likely be entering one or two teams for this event. For more information, head over to our forum or speak to our members.

If you represent a group who wish to play pH in a six versus six game, make it known on our forum or contact Cube to arrange a game. Alternatively, you may be an individual that wishes to join our group to partake in these games. Get to know our community and if you’re suitable, you could play with us.

pH consists of several competitive gamers who enjoy playing TF2 at that level and are always looking for new challenges along with new members.
